End of Season 5, the dev's asked the community to make concepts for Gods we would like to see in the game. Here is my shot at Maui, the Polynesian demi-god, hero to the people. Each ability is a direct refrence to the various tales of Maui. Stealing fire, making days longer, lifting the heavens, pulling islands up, and of course, defeat a monster and planting it's guts to make coconuts.

For Maui’s success of forcing the sun to slow it’s path and increase the length of day, all friendly buffs applied to Maui will last 20% longer.
1st ability - Raise the heavens:
Maui uses his super human strength to push the heavens away from the battlefield to provide more room for his team to grow. Maui and all nearby allies gain protections. At rank 3, all nearby allies gain a flat heal. At rank 5, a small shield is also applied to all nearby allies.
10/20/30/40/50 prots. Range 20. 6 seconds.
Rank 3 heal: 75+3 per level
Rank 5 shield: 1.5% max health (of recipient god)

2nd ability - Steal Fire:
As Maui once stole fire from the underworld for the humans, Maui will steal power from the enemy for his team. Maui attacks in an arc in front of him, snatching enemy fire with his massive Fish hook, dealing damage to all enemies and lowering their power. If this ability hit’s an enemy god, Maui may activate Steal Fire again to perform a small leap. Any allies near Maui’s landing spot will be bestowed The Gift of Fire, a scaling power buff.
Damage: 80/115/150/185/220 (+60% of your physical power)
Gift of Fire (friendly gods): 1.5/3/4.5/6/7.5% power buff
Gift of Fire (minion only buff): 5/10/15/20/25% atk speed

3rd ability - Go for the guts:
Maui strikes out just as he did to defeat the long eel Kona Loa. Maui strikes in a line dealing damage to all enemies. If he hits an enemy god, Maui strikes backwards, planting the enemy's guts in the ground. If an enemy is hit with the planting strike, they are stunned for 1 second and take 50% of the original damage. From the guts of his enemy, a coconut sprouts 1 second later. Any ally may pick it up to regain health and mana. Coconuts can be destroyed with 2 basic attacks.
Damage: 80/125/170/215/260 (+75% of your Physical Power)
Heal: 50/70/90/110/130 (+20% of Physical Power) health and mana

Ultimate - Raise Islands
Maui throws his fish hook down to raise a new island. A platform with 30 radius is created beneath Maui raising all allies and enemies with him. Allies now have High Ground, all ranged attacks and abilities do an additional 10% damage when hitting a target not on the Island, as well as all ranged attacks and abilities coming from off the island deal 15% less damage. Abilities that leave the Island have their range extended by 15. When an ally leaves the island, they receive a 10% movement boost. Enemies that are on the island when it is formed are affected by Tremors for 1 second. If an enemy is pushed, pulled, or moves off the island in any way other than Banish, they will take damage and receive a slow and cripple upon their landing. Enemies and allies that are not on the Island when raised may leap onto the island. The cliff-side may also be passed through with effects such as Phantom to gain access to the newly raised island.
Slow from fall: 20/25/30/35/40%
Cripple from fall: 1/1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5 seconds
Duration: 6 seconds

General idea: A warrior that dives the enemy back line to give buffs back to the team. Can be played in solo or support. Slower early game with a late game pay off for longer engagements and powerful mid game ganks. Most numbers were pulled from existing Warriors and I skipped cool downs intentionally. This is a concept after all, I would be happy to see all numbers touched, I'm just hoping to spark some interest in what Maui could be in hopes the Dev's also get inspired.

Assuming that they’re going to continue doing 6/7 or 8 gods each year here’s Some Pantheons that needs love.
Voodoo: Since Slavic, Polynesian, and Voodoo came out back to back with Hunter, Assassin, Mage respectfully. They’ve been waiting to fill their pantheon up. Slavic got a mage and with voodoo I think they should get an Assassin. Marinette or Agassou would be good assassins to add
Polynesian: As with Voodoo they have not received their second god within their pantheon. My best bet it will be a Hunter or Warrior. Good Hunter gods are Pele’s brother the Shark god Kamohoalii or the wind god Tawhiri. A good warrior could be Maui or Kamohoalii as well he’s pretty versatile.
Celtic: They have been in the game without an assassin I believe for the longest. So it’s obvious they need an assassin god in their pantheon. I would say Arawn or the Fairy King Finvarra.
Hindu: Because of the drama centered around this pantheon they stopped making gods for this pantheon because people were giving them slack for it. We at the least need a god for this pantheon next year. Probs Shiva the Destroyer or Kartikeya the Commander.
Roman: They haven’t had a god since 2017 the last being Discordia. More specifically they haven’t had a Hunter or an Assassin since 2012(Cupid) and 2014(Mercury) respectively. Hunters I have in mind would be Lucifer the Morning Star(Roman equiv of Phosphorus) or his mother Aurora goddess of dawn. For assassins Fauna or Laverna the Goddess of Thieves.
Mayan: Mayan pantheon have been completely forgotten about even for no reason. So I have some gods in mind. Hunahpu the Blow Gunner or Vucub Caquix the Seven Macaw.
Mesopotamian: At first I didn’t have a reason to want this but ever since the idea of adding Tiamat as the first monstrous female deity it has come to my attention. Either Tiamat or a double release of Gilgamesh and Enkidu.

Pink. Everywhere. Towering glass windows tinted with semi-opaque pink glass lacquer showered a kaleidoscope of rainbow spectrum hues that reflected off of every glass surface. Which was every surface for that matter, nothing in this high-class Manhattan office was anything other than transparent, white and don’t forget - pink. Even the logo of ‘Fantasia Four Corp.’ emblazoned into the one opaque wall was branded barbie.
A brief focus on the logo occurs, although your focus was likely drawn to the ironic, yet highly self-referential Gwen Stefani ‘Rich Girl’ playing in the background. On each individual prominent beat was a different shot of each office corner; first her desk plastered in Reddit Dragula graphics, an Ancestry plaque on the wall declaring her as 1% Polynesian for that corporation diversity certificate and the next simply being of a snarling pomeranian who was named Pom.
FANTASIA FOUR CORP MANHATTAN
“What do you mean us not being able to find monsters to cast for Reddit Dragula isn’t my biggest problem?”
That recognisable voice with the fluctuating intonation of Scooby Doo was heard from beyond the computer screen - Fantasia. She sat with her legs crossed in a faux-leather desk chair, smelling like a teen girl who had just walked into Holister whilst simultaneously looking like a deranged model in pink Moschino barbie wear. She chipped her acrylics away with the furious smashing of the keyboard keys, her Nokia flip-phone subject to the same pain with the crushing of her newly-developed double chin and lassos of spit as she spoke.
“What’s my biggest problem then?”
The deep voice on the opposite end of the phone responds. For all we know it could be simlish, the phone too quiet to be picked up on camera. Not to be confused with the Sims 2 running on her computer screen in place of actual documents.
“Smacahoe has coronavirus?? Who cares.” She sighs of relief, albeit more annoyed for the false concer- “She gave it to Starry? Hold up bitch, I’ll be there stat.”
With an acute flick of her wrist she slams her phone shut, the snapping sound commencing an overplay of an appropriately chaotic track as she rapidly reverses out of her desk, gesturing Pom to follow her out of the sliding doors.
Beyond the depths of her office were several workstations and open plan offices, the path to the elevator being a simple journey if it weren’t for-
“Jenny, don’t put any sugar in Melissa’s coffee-” Fantasia snatches the sugar packet out of an unknowing interns hand “- she’s sweating like a jew, she won’t say it’s the menopause but I need to prove it so boss will lay her off. If she stops sweating then put more sugar in her cup cause if she develops type 2 diabetes then maybe you’ll have a chance at promotion.”
In said elevator stood a relatively large man, the buttons burst open on his shirt leaving an open vent for the must of his sauerkraut pits to circulate the tight space, much to Fantasia and the dog’s dismay who hid themselves in the furthest corner. The only moment she didn’t cringe of disgust was when staring at the man manifested into memories of last night’s pork roast - cut short by the ring of the opening doors which made her snap back into a questionable ‘reality’.
‘Questionable’ because the lobby was not synonymous to the previous office settlement; the space flooded by white men instead of diverse women and the occasional, potentially lesbian janitor. The incongruent dynamic was further indicated by the smell, if you thought the pits of Shrek in the elevator were bad, what about a room with Shrek 2 and all the sequels in it.
Like Donkey she awkwardly stumbled over to the front-desk, making way through all of the front of house staff who had been carefully picked on the premise of their breast size and lack of gag reflex when flirting with old, shrivel-dick clients. The camera sways side to side in a dutch-tilt fashion, in chorus synchrony with the hefty step and sway of Fantasia, such motion concluding with the landing of her hand on the desk-top.
“Anita, I’m going back home, It’s an emergency-” She slams her LV bag on the desk and tosses over her apartment keys “-you can have these, if that man you’re talking to finds out you live in Brooklyn you might as well shit on his dick girl.”
“My name is not Anita…”
“Bye!”
She laughs her goodbyes and exits through the turning doors, peering up and down the street for her rhinestoned sports car; something that would have taken her long to find with her quaint amount of brain cells and mass of people on the street. Pom had already managed to find the vehicle with the sniff of her piss-stain on the guest seat, spinning in circles and barking for her bitch to come over.
Flashing lights concur with the press of her car-key, the doors slowly rising as she stood there - hand on hip - smiling as people stared. She stood embracing the attention for too long, not having realised the door was already completely open and the car parked behind hers had been beeping with both a car horn and derogatory swear words waiting to pull out.
“Bastard.”
The flustered queen nestles into her velvet car-interior that was as equally pink as her face, gripping onto the wheel intensely, but slamming on the reverse harder - crushing the bonnet of the ‘bastard’ behind her before switching gear and pulling out into the Manhattan streets.
Her speed was unprecedented, she may have hit some private school kids - but with the beginning of the virus outbreak fewer cars took to the roads and thus left not much, but enough space for her to race down.
“White men shouting tranny at me just because I didn’t get in my car-” The thought of her short-lived rival and the man who managed to revive her dormant gag reflex with his smell infuriated her, and only made her drive faster “- if I turned around to him and called him a cuck I would’ve been arrested for harassment.”
[POM]: This bitch has got to start watching the road.
“We should go back and cough on him.”
The speed intensifies, the red dial on the metre swinging over to the highest mph. The small spaces she drove between also got smaller.
“My baby might have coronavirus and he’s jus-”
The camera frantically turns to the left avenue as a truck whacks her car into a spin, whipping straight into a metal pole near Grand Central Park and conjuring a blast of glass shards from the front window which Fantasia had been flung from. Scattered amongst the road were window pieces and fragments of metal and rhinestone, surrounding her paralysed body as she whimpers in pain.
A moment of relief is found as steps are heard approaching as shards shatter beneath the person's foot -
“Finally a paramedic, please help.”
- only for a pair of heels to come into the lens, twisting into the pool of glass and rubble beneath as to produce a dramatic plume of residue to enhance her arrival. A petite, gloved hand comes into frame, patting the crippled queens back.
“It’s my time now. You never even gave me a number name mom, so don’t expect me to help you now.”
An above shot of the devastation shows the storm of glass shards to read: Fake Drag Race, Fantasia raising a surrender flag that also acts as a race flag with the checkerboard imprint. An unexpected tune of ‘Beautiful Girls’ is heard, playing over the scene as focus is drawn elsewhere.
The heels continue towards the ornate gates of central park, the lens following whilst slowly tracking up her body, the sun peeking through the skyscrapers and flaring the camera. Skinny, long legs, often masqueraded by a beautiful flow of blue chiffon that billowed in the faint gust of wind. Waist pulled inwards by nothing but formed by natural biology and locks of glossy sheen platinum-blonde hair that had been pulled back with volume by a matching headband. Oh, and not to forget, she was also painted blue.
Her name? Malaysia Zero. A spectacle of beauty, the living epitome of what it is to be both conventionally and unconventionally attractive; a tooth-gap set between her two front teeth with an odd-placed beauty mark nestled in the bud of her cupid bow. Eyes glistening with pools of honey and maple with bold, brazen eyebrows which weren’t afraid to grow thick.
All of these stares, even whilst she looked like your typical alien-gone upper-east side character, just your typical Waldorf relative on a stroll to her residency at a penthouse. Well, all of those stares for a while, the eyes of the pedestrians eventually shifted to something else which she approached in a clearing.
GRAND CENTRAL PARK NEW YORK
Over her shoulder a crowd of weirdos stood, drag queens. Being looked at like a smeared dog shit, or even more accurately my parents when they first found gay porn on my iPad. Yes, I’m still closeted. Enough of the narrator talk and more of literal shock; Malaysia herself was standing there gawking as (thankfully) the Sean Kingston song had stopped with a classic vinyl scratch audiobyte.
“I’m sorry guys, this is the wrong cast. You’re meant to be in season 2. Where are the others then?”
The queen looks right to left and awkwardly over her shoulder to avoid staring at the frustrated bunch. Drag queens standing in daytime drag, in heels no less than four inches for hours, is not something you want to face - even in a literal context. Little to her knowledge, she’d had no choice but to eventually look. A thump on the face from the sole of a mid-air heel caused her to fall out of frame, a collision of skinny sounded against the flabs of whichever woman she used as cushion.
“Ouch.”
The camera isn't too far behind, it is too concussed by a queens heel and smashing against the ground. Glitches form across the screen as stripes of colour pixelate, twisting and manifesting into the silhouette of a new surrounding. Shapes of bulbs, giant lips, workstations, mirrors and pyramids of makeup.
The room was spacious; a high-vaulted ceiling occupying an infrastructure of copper poles which were entangled in wires, those of which hanging freely from the grid glistening in a faint-hue that illuminated different areas of the room. The walls were too double-vaulted and were simply of exposed brick, albeit the main feature wall showcasing a graffiti-mural of a lip-stick stained crown. Aligned down the furthest wall were a lineage of tall-standing mirrors in front of an extensive black-slate surface illuminated by LED strips with stools of alternating colour tucked beneath.
A conundrum of work surfaces were found lined down the middle, each of the same slate and oak-varnished wood with a sewing machine straddled on top. This was obviously to account for the adjacent wall, covered in a swarm of fabric bolts that had both been drilled into the wall in racks or set underneath a glass storage unit, whereby jewels, rhinestones and crystals glistened.
FDR WERKROOM WEEK ONE
A bloodline of immobile mannequins stood beside each surface, however these would not be the only human-silhouettes in the FDR werkroom for long. Lights are drawn to the entrance and spotlights installed in the ground beam.
The lights dim with a spotlight near the workroom entrance, and a queen walks in. She is tall but slim, with legs that could only be rivaled by Naomi Smalls. She walks in wearing a simple black cocktail dress, carrying a simple black purse. The top of the dress is flooded with sequins, and the bottom is made of tulle, with rhinestones scattered here and there. She is wearing black heels, which have also been bedazzled with more rhinestones. She is sporting her natural golden blonde hair in an updo, with a fascinator that matches her dress. She walks into the workroom and says -
"Oh, don't mind me; I shouldn't be long. I'm just here for my crown and 100 grand, then I'll be on my way."
[MAY I. HAVANOTHER]: My name is May I. Havanaother, I’m 21 and from Denver, CO! I signed up for this as it seemed like an interesting experience, and I thought it would be fun to try it out. My drag style in 3 words would be polished, elegant and comedic, and I would definitely see myself as a hero this season, maybe even this season’s Miss Congeniality. If I don’t win, that is. I plan to bring my friendly self, along with some amazing runway looks. I will admit that I’m not as experienced in the drag world, but who says you need to be experienced to do well in this season? Be warned, fellow competitors. “First one in? I’ll take it. Hopefully not the first one out.”
The first queen looks around the werkroom, realising how it was a stylistic collision of your dad’s tool shed (PTSD) and the ‘gay streets’. Her wander quickly concluded as the spotlights drew focus back to the entrance again.
“Shit y’all, who’s next?”
Elegant music can be heard as Rose Schwartz enters the werkroom. The sound of her stomping her heels takes over the entire room. She is a vision in red. From her red finger wave wig, to her gorgeous, tailored red suit, down to her 6 inch red pumps. She is accessorised with long, red nails, a red necklace with matching red rings, and two small earrings shaped like the letters "R" and "S" (also, red). Her makeup is a beautiful red mug, with plump red lips and a glistening red eyeshadow. In her left hand is a wine glass, taller than any wine glass that's ever been seen on television. The glass is full of a red liquid, mirroring the color of Rose's look (did I mention it was red?). Rose stops and poses, lifting the wine glass up into the air, and putting her right hand on her waist. "L'chaim!" - she says in a sexy tone, with a seductive smile on her face. She then proceeds to drink the entire glass in a single sip, and gently drops it to the floor. She sighs in satisfaction, and then she......BURPS?!!! The elegant music stops abruptly and a rattlesnake sound effect is played. After a few seconds of awkward silence, Rose puts her hand on her mouth and giggles. "My bad" she says. She then looks at the other girls and says: "Also, don't worry that was just cranberry juice".
[ROSE SCHWARTZ]: Hi everyone! My name is Rose Schwartz, I'm on the edge of seventeen and I'm from the faraway land of Israel! I signed up for FDR, because...well... I don't really have anything better to do! But also, I LOVE competitions, & I wanna show the world what I'm capable of, and have some fun doing it! Hi there! This is my first god concept and I wanted to talk a little about why I chose this particular god and what the general idea was.
Idea: I was really disappointed that so far we only had Pele from the Polynesian pantheon when there's a ton of cool characters to add to the game. When I looked into the lore I was taken to Kamapua'a and how fun his story was. The more I thought about it and how he should look and play, the more I thought I should share my ideas and hopefully Hi-Rez will at least try to add more Polynesian characters to the game. I can't draw so I figured I would try to describe what I had in mind.
Kamapua'a is described as a benevolent god that tricks bad people, gets into fights easily, and is madly in love with Pele. When Pele rejected him the two got into a huge argument, but their relationship grew and became this tumultuous romance. He is one of the only people who can turn Pele's lava into fertile land. He's associated with the land and with being quick to fight, so I wanted to build a god around that.
So here we go!
Character Appearance: I imagined Kamapua'a being very muscular, covered in traditional Hawaiian warrior tattoos, with a boar's head.
Class: Warrior
Weapon: Lua, the traditional Hawaiian martial art
Playstyle: I liked the idea of the Polynesian gods being very long-game based and high risk/high reward for their play styles. With Kamapua'a, I imagined him being a god that should be adept at engaging an enemy and staying in the fight, but could be punished for overextending. He would be strongest in the fight against single targets, but bad if he tries to take on multiple opponents at once.
Passive - Defiance: Kamapua'a is a god naturally defiant of all authority. His refusal to kneel to anyone felt like it would be best presented in how he handles CC "kneeling so to speak". For every CC placed on Kamapua'a he gets a stack of defiance, giving him 3% damage mitigation from all sources and stacking up to three times for a total of 9%. The stacks refresh for every CC placed on Kamapua'a and last for 6s.

Basic attack chain: 1/1/1/1

Ability 1 - Wild Charge: Kamapua'a dashes forward, damaging enemies and knocking enemies in random directions. If Kamapua'a dashes over an enemy made buff or healing item (think Ah Puch's corpses, Cupid's hearts, or a buff that an enemy hasn't picked up yet) then Kamapua'a steals it gaining the effects of that item. 60/120/190/250/300 (60% Physical Power)
Ability 2 - Low Blow: Kamapua'a fights dirty to get the advantage against his opponent by sweeping the legs of all opponent's in a cone. Enemies hit by this ability become disarmed for 1s. 50/100/150/210/290 (50% Physical Power)
Ability 3 - Crush into Dirt: Kamapua'a grabs a single opponent, knocking them into the ground and stunning them. Kamapua'a will continue to hit and stun the grabbed opponent until he is dealt damaged by any source or until the player cancels the ability. The ability does not cancel if the opposing god dies, instead Kamapua'a will continue to hit the area! Basically think Vamana's passive amplified. In addition to the buff, his basic attacks now tremble the opponent and his abilities cripple all opponents they hit.
Protections to Power percentage: 15%/30%/50%/75%/105%
Basic attacks: Tremble
Abilities: Cripple

What I wanted out of this god was to really bring out the brutal nature of both the Lua martial art and Kamapua'a's warlike, boar nature and create a god that was all about getting into a fight and disrupting. I hope you enjoyed my concept. Let me know what you think and what can be improved upon!

Something that's been on my mind lately with the W! and NY! events is seasonal alts, and now that we've started a new year, I thought it would be fun to reflect on previous seasonals and talk about what we do and don't like/want for this year. I'm predominantly going to be talking about seasonals from an aesthetic pov and not gameplay-wise, so we can save the rants on seasonal armoured units for another post.
Going in chronological order,
Jan - Hostile Springs
Characters in bathrobes and towels? I feel like we could safely skip this one this year
Feb - Valentines
Not much to say here, the Valentine seasonals see characters dressed up in fancy attire carrying gifts/flowers. Not sure how IS could improve upon this one tbh, maybe throw in a Cupid-themed character to spice it up.
March - Spring
Please IS give us something other than rabbits, carrots and eggs this year. Spring is supposed to be the season of fertility and growth, maybe we could get outfits based around nature? Flowers and woodlands creatures might be a nice take, something a little less Easter and a bit more Eostre/Ostara. Even something closer to the new book 4 fairies would better than easter bunnies again.
April - Picnics?
2019 saw the first April seasonals in the form of A Season For Picnics. It's new but is it refreshing? I'll let y'all decide on that one.
May - Bridal
There's really not much to this one, it's just characters in white dresses (the exception being Tharja). Pretty boring, atleast 2018* saw our first groom. Perhaps IS could do a full groom banner this year (hah!)
June/July - Summer
Personally my least favourite (along with HS) as it's just an excuse to throw characters out in bikinis for the weirdos, the odd swimsuit here and there are nice though. This year I'd like to see more thought go into the designs (swimsuits/onepieces > basic bikinis). Helbindi was a step in the right direction too, if we're stripping down to the bare minimum then big buff characters are the way to go.
Aug - Hoshidan Summer
I like this one, it's a bit similar to the New Years ones as it's just characters in kimonos. Last year we just got CYL for Aug and no seasonals, but I wouldn't mind seeing this one make a return.
Sep - Dancer
2017 was Performing Arts and 2019 Splendid Soiree. I think this one is great because although both events shared the common theme of dancing, they did so in vastly different ways. A lot of creative freedom with this one, we could see inspiration taken from famous ballet performances e.g. Swan Lake, The Nutcracker etc. to Kabuki themed and even more traditional styles from African/South American/Polynesian cultures.
Oct - Halloween
This one is my favourite as I feel it's the most creative and has the most potential. The first Halloween event we got a witch, a vampire, frankenstein's monster and a nekomata. the next year we got a monster, a witch (again), a devil? a maid? and Dorcas. Then last year we got a witch (again2) + a cat, a vampire*, a mad scientist, a ghost and whatever Dozla is supposed to be. I can't help but feel IS is lacking a bit with this seasonal. There's so many traditional/famous creatures they could use e.g. Werewolf Keaton (Thriller-esque varsity attire? Traditional flannel + ripped jeans combo? Victorian era? - perhaps something similar to Lord Slashington III), Phantom of the Opera? The Mummy? Dr Jekyll/Mr Hyde duo unit? Van Helsing/Hunter? Clowns? Skeletons? Gargoyles?
I'm surprised the only Yokai they've done is a nekomata too, Nine-tailed Fox Kaden/Selkie, Kotengu Naesala & Daitengu Tibarn, Blue/Red oni, Jorogumo, Tanuki, Kappa, Yurei. So much potential for the halloween seasonals but we keep getting witches.
Nov - ?
We don't have a seasonal for November, what do y'all think could be a good one to put there? Keep in mind Thanksgiving is a USA only holiday.
Dec - Winter
Generally the same thing every year, just units dressed as santa with the odd reindeer antlers here and there - and we still don't have a santa hat accessory. Perhaps we could get an elf themed costume? Snowman? Jack Frost? Anything that isn't red?

ShoobahDoobah: Well, my name is Alex, I am 33, I was born and live in Belarus. Perhaps someone even heard about this country, although it is located in Europe.

PS: When did you start your adventure with Smite?
SD: It all started at the beginning of 2016, when I was horribly tired of playing WoW and decided to try a new game, which I just recommended on Steam. My acquaintance with Smite began with free gods like Artemis, Agni, Anubis and Zeus. At first it seemed - how can I play this? Jump, blink, silence, stun, again silence… And you are dead. Then I got involved and that's what all this led to.
PS: Do you have any hobbies or regular activities besides Smite? Prove that You know how Sun and another humans looks like.
SD: Actually, Smite doesn’t take much time in my life. No more than 2 hours a day. The rest of the time I am the author of a Youtube channel with more than 34K subscribers, its theme is not related to computer games. I love music: I listen it and play it myself. I am also fond of cycling, so I know for sure (do not even think to doubt it) what the sun and other people look like. It’s even strange that when players see the number of my stars the first thought that comes to their mind is that I play Smite 24 hours a day.
PS: What is the history behind your nick?
SD: The story with the nickname is banal. In the days of WoW I creating a new character and had a problem - what name should I give him? By coincidence, at that moment a rock'n'roll song was playing in my player in the text of which the word "shoobahdoobah" sounded. Perhaps it should be written as "scuba dooba" (or something like that), but as it turned out, it happened.

PS: Ah Puch is one of the most annoying gods in the game. Why did you choose him as your main?
SD: I did not select him on purpose! This is a simple coincidence. I played a couple of matches and I liked it. Ah Puch is interesting and peculiar god with his weaknesses and strengths. I believe that each player in Smite will have his own god, the one who is most convenient and easy to play with. For me this is Ah Puch and I probably can’t explain why it was he and not someone else. Maybe it’s all about the game mechanics - it’s comfortable for me to play as a magician, it’s comfortable for me to do damage and I’m comfortable to play Ah Puch, even if I understand that in case of serious danger Puch can only rely on its own legs and on my playing skill. You must be prudent and accurate, and be sure to correctly choose position on the map.
PS: I got sick when I grinded Serqet to 4k and I had enough after 14 matches in a row. What motivates You to play Ah Puch over and over again?
SD: Impossible to play equally good for all gods. As I said it’s convenient for me to play as a magician. But it’s even more convenient to play for Ah Puch. Of all the gods that currently exist in Smite best of all I understand Ah Puch. I understand in what moments it is worth attacking and when to retreat, what is my limit, what are the possibilities etc. This is purely personal.
PS: What is your reaction when there are buff, nerf or changes for Ah Puch during Patch Notes?
SD: I think there have not been such changes that would make me quit playing for Ah Puch. Of the latter I was probably a little upset by nerf of gem of isolation, but not enough to switch to another god.

PS: What is your favourite and least favourite gamemode/s?
SD: Only Arena and nothing else. The rest of the game modes make me bored and I feel like I'm wasting my time.
PS: What are Your most and least favourite gods besides Ah Puch to play?
SD: There are several of them: Hades, Aphrodite, Nox and Agni with X mastery and Jormungandr with IX. Yes, it happens that I play as a guard, and not just magicians. Also I hate playing assassins. It’s just not mine and that’s it.
PS: What are Your most and least favourite gods besides Ah Puch based on their looks/style, voice?
SD: Absolutely not worried about skins and voices packs. I do not play for them.
PS: What gods rustles Your jimmies during your plays? Do you have your personal archnemesis?
SD: When I playing Ah Puch I hate Bacchus, Kumbhakarna, Loki and Nox. You know why. But sometimes they get it.

PS: Being so committed player of a one god generates positive and negative reactions. How do You deal with the salt and hate messages directed towards you?
SD: Oooooh yeah. So many hate, so many ... I don't know why so many worshipers in one god are causing such negative reaction. Someone immediately begins to write that I have crooked hands and I'm good for nothing. Most begin to wonder how many mastery do i have, is everything okay with me, do I ever leave the house etc. One player, seeing my stars, decided that Ah Puch himself joined the game. Another player suggested that I started playing Smite before it created. Another decided that I'm a cheater. There are people who believe that if I play for so long for Ah Puch then I must win every battle in the Arena alone, killing six (seven is better) at a time. Come on! Smite is a team game. I need you and you need me. And then we will win.
PS: How do you behave during your games? Are you a teamwork buddy, pesky douchebag or lone wolf?
SD: I just try to support team play, of course, if it works. Sometimes i play with my clan friends.
PS: Do you decline playing as Ah Puch when your team needs it?
SD: Yes, if I see that other players have chosen too many magicians (even in Arena), I can go on warrior or guard. This is just an attempt to save the next 20 minutes and not throw them into the void, stupidly losing because of the choice of my teammates.
PS: Do you have any tips for players that starts their adventure with this ugly necromancer?
SD: Sometimes I meet other players who, in principle, play well for Ah Puch. My only advice is to play the way you like. It doesn’t matter who thinks about it and what he thinks about it.

PS: Is there a god(s) or goddess(es) that you would like to see reworked or remodeled?
SD: I never thought about this, but perhaps the developers need to remodel Cupid. This big flying head really scares me.
PS: You probably aware about upcoming gods that soon will visit Smite. Are there any gods that hype You and you want them to be in the game?
SD: Need to expand slavic, polynesian and voodoo pantheons. But probably like most I’m looking forward to seeing Jesus in Smite. It will be ... fun. In every sense of the word. But I understand that this will never happen.
PS: What is your overall opinion about the game? It's state, balance, etc.
SD: The game has something else to work on - on the stability of the game and balancing some gods. But I am grateful to the developers for the opportunity to relax a bit and let off steam. Actually for this there are online games.

2019.03.05 18:02 ReinaBlaka Pantheon Expansion rates (calculated as of Jormungandr release 03/05/19)

So after Psyduckdontgiveafuck did his analysis of class expansion rates, I wondered if I could do the same for pantheon expansion rates. So after some number crunching of my own here are the results I found.
A lot of it is similar to the class post, just applied to pantheons. I’ve put the information for each pantheon in the rough order of their release in Smite, and I’ve excluded the gods that were in the game upon closed beta (05/31/12).
I’ll be putting my observations of my findings in a separate comment to stop this post from getting longer than it is. If there is anything I need to correct, please let me know! It would be much appreciated.

2019.02.13 15:09 NK_Ryzov The Nine Wonders of the Solar System [Overheaven]

The Solar System in the year 2185 is filled with many, many worlds worth of fantastical and wondrous sights. But here, I will distill the most impressive destinations for each of the nine “classical planets”.
Nightsnake
While most people on Mercury live in the labyrinthine system of tunnels and underground, terraformed geofronts beneath the surface, others live aboard the train-city of Nightsnake. At 4,762 miles long, Nightsnake slowly crawls towards the Mercurian sunrise, while its caboose remains in permanent dusk, and the remaining 98% of the train spans the planet’s nightside.
While most are familiar with the scorching days on Mercury, few appreciate the subzero nights, and for the colonies situated as close to the sun as Mercury is (or closer), cold becomes a valuable resource. The core of Nightsnake’s economy is refining raw stellar matter scooped out of Sol by daredevil sundivers, as well as industries related to high-speed computing and various industrial sectors which benefit from consistent, ultra-cold temperatures.
Power comes from two main sources - solar arrays on either end of Nightsnake, supplemented by reactors distributed across the train. Nightsnake is so big, it has a tram system to make it easier to get from one end of it to the other; it’s a train with tons of little trains aboard it. It moves so slowly, you can easily walk onto it, despite constantly moving. And because they’re constantly on the “dark side” of Mercury, for the people living on Nightsnake, the day-night cycle manifests as the transition between white lighting and red lighting, with each massive train car effectively being its own timezone.
Nightsnake is home to around 12 million sophonts. The cladistics of Nightsnake break down to around 64% baseline humans (chiefly of Central American descent) and 36% AI (the cold temperatures make Nightsnake very attractive to beings who worry about their servers getting too hot).
The Cupid Array
Historically instrumental to terraforming Venus, the Cupid Array is a colossal space mirror hundreds of thousands of miles across, but only a few inches thick.
Built from millions of kilotons of Venusian carbon siphoned out of the “Yellow Planet’s” now-bygone Hellish atmosphere and converted into miles of nanotubes in orbit, and high-grade steel mass-forged in mills on Venus’ moon, Neith, the Cupid Array has solar collectors along its edges which gather up obscene amounts of energy, which is then exported in the form of dirt-cheap solar cells to the rotating habitats orbiting Venus herself.
But the most impressive perspective of the Cupid Array is to be found on the surface of Venus. If you can pull your eyes away from space-age retro-Soviet architecture, the floating sky-cities, or the lush jungles filled with genetically-resurrected dinosaurs - take a look at the sun. With your shades on, of course. On Venus, the sun appears as a shining white crescent, due to the Cupid Array permanently eclipsing it.
Nobody actually lives on the Cupid Array itself, but there are four very large O’Niell cylinder habitats in orbit around the edges of the Array - Eloseu, Pillia, Gyeongsin and Boho (very rough Korean translations of the Greek concepts for love - Eros, Phillia, Agape and Storge; if any Korean language experts reading this could furnish me with less-terrible translations, this college dropout would be forever grateful). These colonies are inhabited by blond Koreans with a strange preoccupation with Koreanized interpretations of classical Greek art, spirituality, philosophy and culture.
Everest City
There are so many amazing, impressive and horrible things on Earth I could have brought up, but Everest City stands out for some reason.
The tallest mountain on Earth has become a fitting capital for the similarly-massive Sino-Indian Combine; a post-post-apocalyptic merger of China and India which arose in the aftermath of World War IV in the 2070’s, and today is referred to simply as “Sindia”.
While the famous tip of the mountain has been preserved as a memorial, six 10-mile-high towers rise high above it. The interior of the mountain has been hollowed out and urbanized, with an especially large hollow area being lit by a fusion lantern (a sun-simulator, basically, complete with its own day-night cycle). And the Everest City sprawl continues downward into the Earth’s crust for at least five miles. It is home to an incredible 1.2 billion people as of 2185, and is part of a larger Himalayan megalopolis of lesser mountain-cities, stretching from Annapurna to Makalu.
The Halo
A massive, ambitious orbital ring built around Mars’ equator, the Halo is connected to the Martian surface (or at least the Martian atmosphere) by 20 skyhooks, at the end of each is a chandelier-like city floating (well, dangling) maybe a few hundred feet off the ground and gently moving west to east.
The Halo generates its own gravity via centrifugal rotation, has maglev trains spanning its entire circumference, and green open areas with self-contained biospheres where the oxygen is cycled and food for the Halo’s 500 million residents is produced. These “Green Zones” are consciously modeled after Mars’ own terraformed ecosystem, and because the c-forces push away from Mars, the Martian surface dominates the sky in the Green Zones’ transparent ceilings.
Though technically still incomplete (as of 2185, the Halo is only considered 87% complete), the Halo already has an economy anchored around its status as a waypoint between Deimos and the Martian surface, as well as the second largest shipyard in the Solar System - lagging but a hair’s breadth behind the shipyards of Luna. The Halo is also the only other place in the Solar System besides the Lunar shipyards where ISV’s (interstellar vehicles) are manufactured; on Luna, ISV’s are built by Serrano Interstellar, and on the Halo, by Gibson Spacewerx. More so than on Luna, the shipbuilding industry (ISV’s, IPV’s, IAV’s, ICV’s and more) is viewed with great pride, in no small part because the shipyards and dry docks are the Halo’s largest employers.
Haloites are predominately humans of Filipino, Australian, Russian and Japanese descent, though plenty of AI’s and simian uplifts (mostly chimpanzees and gorillas, with smaller orangutan populations) also call the Halo home. Whatever their clade, however, Haloites are more hung-ho about their Martian heritage than most residents of the Red Planet, and can typically be seen proudly displaying Martian flags (Halo flags, too), murals of idealized depictions of Martian history, and Gibson logos and merchandise.
Selenites visiting the Halo are advised not to advertise too loudly that they hail from Luna. Especially not in front of any drunk Haloites. It WILL get political.
The Himalian Sprawl
While the Galilean moons (Europa, Ganymede, Io and Callisto), or even some of the Lesser Jovians like Amalthea or Themisto, tend to hog the spotlight when discussing the wonders of Jupiter’s 79 moons, Himalia is probably the most important of them all, since she serves as the main port of entry and departure for the Jovian Cluster. Thanks to this small moon’s very strategic orbit (it’s the second-closest outer moon to the Galileans), ships arriving from other parts of the Solar System stop by Himalia to transfer their cargo to smaller craft, which then travel throughout the Jovian Cluster.
Actually, Himalia is not one moon, but several. The seven Himalia Group moons (Himalia, Leda, Lysithea, Elara, Dia, Jupiter LXXI and Jupiter LXV) have all been merged together with colossal nanotube tethers (akin to space elevators), to form one big cluster of interconnected objects occupying Himalia’s orbit, connected by vacuum trains, and incorporating various rotating habitats and zero-g dry docks in orbit around this larger mass. The two largest moons (Elara and the titular Himalia) have been hollowed out, filled with air and had their interiors paraterraformed, becoming concave mini-Earths dominated by ecologically-conscious cityscapes, parks and even lakes.
Because neither are rotating individually (the whole Sprawl rotates around a common center of gravity, but not the individual moons of which it consists), gravity for the interiors of Himalia and Elara is facilitated by EMRP (Electro-Magnetic Radiation Pressure) push fields. This alone makes the Sprawl a wonder of the Solar System, since push fields are less common in habitat systems than the more traditional/trustworthy c-force rotation. Indeed, Himalia is the biggest thing to use push field gravity in the entire Solar System, and can afford to run these systems really only because the Sprawl is a such a lucrative spaceport.
The largest population group on the Sprawl are humans of Malagasy descent, though you also have very sizable populations of cetacean uplifts (dolphins mostly, but a few whales as well) who’ve opted for prosthetic spaceship bodies and work for the Sprawl Port Authority.
They weren’t satisfied with the oceans on Ganymede, so these cetaceans cyborged up to swim amongst the stars. Where they ended up becoming blue-collar harbor workers, because even space-dolphins need jobs. Don’t be surprised if some of the “humans” you talk to on the Sprawl are actually dolphin brains in human-like prosthetic bodies (of course, calibrated to account for the peculiarities of the audio-visual anatomy of the dolphin brain). When they’re not hardwired into their ship-bods, a good number of the “flippers” of the Himalian Sprawl (pro-tip: don’t call a dolphin “flipper” unless you know them personally; it’s their n-word) will spend their downtime living among land-walkers, though they always make sure to disclose that they’re not actually human, but dolphins in mechanical human bodies. Y’know, so things don’t get weird.
Abydos
The first and largest of the pyramids on Saturn’s largest moon, Titan, mighty red Abydos is a three-mile-tall, city-sized super computer, half-submerged in the subzero liquid methane sea, Kraken Mare. Harnessing the obscene amounts of energy from the hydrocarbons that Titan is essentially made out of, and benefiting immensely from the ultra-cold temperatures, Abydos has enough processing power to emulate human consciousnesses - a feat which is really only possible on Titan for those two reasons.
On Titan, 100% of the population are full-body cyborgs (organic brains in prosthetic bodies), but for those who are upstanding, hard-working citizens of the Republic of Titan, they can abandon biology entirely when they retire, by having their minds uploaded onto super computers such as Abydos. Of course, this will mean the death of your original self, and “you” will live on as a digital copy in what is essentially a virtual afterlife of endless possibilities, in the ever-expanding open-source virtual worlds of Titan’s cyberspace.
Abydos has enough processing power to emulate 93 million human minds, and functions as a server-base from which its “ghosts” can move all across the moon’s computer network, though most do in fact spend their time in VR - preferring to explore and colonize “inner space”, rather than outer space. In addition, they can manifest via holograms, and even remotely control android bodies, to give themselves physical form again - though it’s really more like controlling a video game character than it is being physical again.
The locals on Titan are predominantly of mixed American and Chinese ancestry, and to a certain extent revere the digital “ghosts” of Titan. Though communing with the spirits of your ancestors is perhaps a bit less serene than it was in the olden days; in 2185, the spirits gripe about you interrupting their 1,361st Skyrim playthrough, or complain about you not bringing the great-great-grandkids to visit them more often, or tell you to stand up straight and get a haircut.
The Yggdrasil Grove
The Yggdrasil Grove is a group of five Dyson trees which all share an orbit around Uranus.
Essentially, a Dyson tree is what you get when you plant a genetically-modified tree into the core of a dead comet - which has all the carbon, nitrogen and water a plant could ask for. The tree is able to grow to a massive size in zero gravity, and it’s leaves collect solar energy both from the distant sun, and the system of fusion lanterns floating in Uranus’ helium-rich atmosphere (which provide a more convenient source of light for solar energy and photo synthesis). A bubble-like geodesic sphere keeps the oxygen generated by the tree from escaping into space, as well as trap heat and magnify incoming light (similar “bubbles” were essential for terraforming the Uranian moons Oberon and Titania).
The result? You have massive zero-g space treehouses with quirky elf-people floating around them - it’s a real trip, quirky even by Uranian standards.
The Grove’s economy of course has a big tourist sector, but they also export substantial amounts of sustainably-harvested wood, as well as foodstuffs grown via the tree’s processes.
Poseidon’s Chain
Neptune already had wispy rings of ice and dust around it when humans first arrived in the Neptunian Cluster, but in the last century, that ring has grown tremendously, in large part due to Neptune’s strategic role in interstellar colonization.
About once every two weeks, a 15-mile-long ISV arrives in orbit around Neptune, after a months-long voyage from the Inner System. Here, it begins final preparations for departure from the Solar System, during which, the massive fusion tugs which towed it into the Outer System are discarded and snatched up by local salvage teams to be recycled into cheap and simple rotating habitats, which today number around 3,209. All those red, white, green and blue lights make the new ring of Neptune quite a sight to behold from the planet’s moons, like Triton (now terraformed, cold and watery, but you can breathe on the surface just fine) or Proteus (hollowed out, spun up for gravity, filled with water, inhabited by gill-people), and the locals call this growing ring of economically-connected habitats between the Adams Ring and the orbit of the moon Larissa, “Poseidon’s Chain”.
And once the ISV finishes preparations, the vessel ignites its big dumb antimatter rocket with a blinding white flash that lights up the entire Neptune Cluster for a single second, as the ISV vanishes at 75% the speed of light. The flash causes beautiful aurora effects in the magnetospheres above Triton and Neptune for days on end, and since an ISV arrives around once a week, this means the auroras are a near-constant affair.
The overwhelming majority of the Poseidon’s Chain habs are simple rotating Von Braun wheels no bigger than a mile in diameter, with smaller numbers of much larger Stanford toruses. The population of Poseidon’s Chain is primarily of Australasian, Polynesian, Japanese, Alaskan, Filipino, Melanesian, Taiwanese, Cascadian, Micronesian, Siberian and Californian descent, with heavy ethnic mixing and cultural cross-pollination between all of these groups. Cladistically, one third are baseline humans, one third are cyborgs (humans with greater than 50% cybernetics), and one third are aquamorphs (the aforementioned gill-people - humans genetically-modified to live primarily in water). That last group keeps their habitats filled with water, and will often integrate coral-based biotech into the habitat’s more mechanical systems.
Additionally, Poseidon’s Chain has a rather sizable community of polychaete uplifts (giant, genetically-engineered sapient bristle worms). Originally created to operate the geothermal power plants on Triton, these intelligent, amphibious invertebrates put their natural proclivity for tight spaces to good use as mechanics and technicians across the Chain, and are known to live in the waste-disposal sectors of most habitats (hey, it’s warm, dark and there’s free food).
The Hades Bridge
And finally, we have the Hades Bridge - a (relatively short, at only 12,000 miles) space elevator which connects Pluto to its largest moon, Charon.
The Bridge was built chiefly from carbon harvested from the gooey layers of amorphous graphite located just beneath Pluto’s ice, plastic synthesized from frozen organic compounds on both Pluto and Charon, and fullerene nanotube spider webs woven by the araneae and araknyds (giant, cognitively-uplifted spiders, and four-armed, four-legged humans with spider HOX genes, respectively) of Pluto’s third-largest moon, Hydra. Twenty-five vacuum elevator-trains move at hypersonic speeds approaching Mach 8.5, allowing cargo and passengers to be transported quickly between Pluto and Charon in a matter of minutes.
The great rotating metropolis of Persephone City is situated at the L1 point between the two dwarf planets (essentially the middle of the Bridge), and is the largest city in the entire Kuiper Belt, with a population of around 18 million sophonts, including baseline humans, cyborgs, AI’s, vampires (yes, really) and the Spiders of Hydra.

Read it first before going into questions and answers:
Form, wording etc. of the answers / questions is not the same as it was on stream. Most of them will be shortened. I skipped questions like "buff / nerf x god" unless they said something like in terms of Skadi where they know her ult is bad and it is looked at, while at the same time, when someone asked for artemis buff, they said that she is not needing one simply because data or pro opinions shows that she doesnt need buff. I hope I got all the relevant questions noted. If something is missing, write it down in comments so I can edit it later and add it to the list of questions and answers below. Also, I hope I didn't make major spelling mistakes or anything like that.

Q: Any UI changes, reworks, anything?
A: Yes. Current UI is work in progress and priority is set to fix it and make sure the bugs are fixed. Things like missing report button in recently played that is a bug and report button should be there. UI is on the high priority list.

Q: Is duo queue coming back?
A: No. They dont want to bring it back because it would case more matchmaking issues. Joust has 3 man queue because otherwise no one would play ranked joust.

Q: Why Freya wasnt nerfed if Titan is looking at pick / ban rate?
A: Her data shows her to be at around 50% win rate in ranked and below that in casuals. Her pick rate in high ranked in not that high and even when she is picked, it is always 50/50. They know she feels less like hunter, more like burst mage and will look into that.

Q: Was there any god concept / idea scraped in development?
A: No. Every god that was in development was released / is going to be.

Q: New elixir and ratatoskr acorn interraction?
A: They might look into that. For now those wont stack.

Q: Skadi Ult buff / change?
A: Will be looked at. They know it is currently bad.

Q: Will Guardians blessing be looked at if meta wont change?
A: Yes. If meta won't change, guardians blessing will be changed. For now they want to see how meta will change because they like current solo diversity and they dont want to hinder supports.

Q: Will worshipers from different platforms stack? Like Xbox 40k worshipers on X god and PC 4k worshipers on X god?
A: Yes. Those will stack. So once crossplay hits, you will have 44k worshippers on X god.

Q: Will Xbox K+M be supported?
A: Yes. It will be supported. The same with chat / text box. Those things are related to each other. Console text chat will come at some point in season 6.

Q: Will you add more gods to pantheons like Voodoo or Polynesian so gods there dont feel lonely?
A: Most likely no. They said multiple times. They add gods that will feel good and be awesome to have. That is why Baron will most likely be sole Voodoo god for a long time. So dont ask about adding for example Celtic assassin just to fill that gap in the pantheon. It is the restriction. Without it, all the current god releases were succesful.

Q: Any remodels and reworks in development?
A: There is 1 remodel in development. No reworks. They dont like reworks and things associated with them. They would rather buff / nerf / adjust things in gods kits'. Current remodel in work is a secret.

Q: Skin updates?
A: Not on the high priority. If there is a time, maybe but not very likely.

Q: Is it possible to adjust animations of certain gods so they wont die when they shouldn't have? Like Freya being in the Air, Hou being in air etc. Or speed animations of gods like Hun Batz two because it feels so slow?
A: They dont want to adjust animation times because it feels bad for animators. Situations like dying in the air is the fault of server not registering that you went into air fast enough. That information simply didnt arrive in time on the enemy side. That is why you died in air but on the enemy side, you werent in the air YET. In case of animations like Hun Batz. Animations like that are usually point blank range abilities that have big impact. They want players to have time to react to it. Like Hera's 2. It feels powerful due to long animation and effect but both of those can be canceled by interrupting her.

Q: Any plans for more arthurian characters added?
A: No. They mentioned some to be possibly added like Mordred, Lancelot,. They might add them during season 7 but for know they are in the "Not likely".

Q: Physical equivalent of pestilence?
A: If they add that, it should be applying anti heal in different way otherwise it would be too strong. Maybe Toxic blade can be changed to that but not very likely. Really not likely.

Q: Physical equivalent of asclepius?
A: No one would buy it. Would have no use. Only Guan would most likely use it but even then there are better items.

Q: Are you afraid of tank meta?
A: Yes. They would rather have burst meta rather than tank meta because tank meta hurts their player base, decreased fun etc. They know it is also not fun to being blown up in a sec while having only tank items. If S6 meta becomes too bursty / tanky, it will be adjusted for sure. They also said that they dont want healers meta to be back.

Q: Can you use skins that are available only on, for example xbox, on pc when crossplay starts?
A: Yes. You will be able.

Q: What about multiple same names when crossplay starts?
A: It is possibility to have 2 players with the same nickname in the game but they are looking into it.

Q: When MMR will be available for us to see, having hidden / no hidden profile wil affect it?
A: No. For now they have plans only for you to see the MMR and to show MMR of top players in ranked only.

Q: Any plans for new items?
A: Maybe. There are many problems with adding new items. For now they want to bring all items into "usable" state. Items like Blackthorn or runeforge in S6 might be considered new for many players due to buffs.

Q: Why wasnt Mail of Renewal buffed when other HP items were?
A: Mail of Renewal is dangerous. If you buff it, it is in every game. They like that state it is in, because according to data, people who pick it currently, have very high success with it.

Q: Toxic blade buff?
A: While data shows it is quite good, they know it didn't have desired impact as an alternative so maybe it will receive changes.

Q: Are you happy with current anti - heal items?
A: Antiheal is probably in the best state it ever was.

Q: Why jungle is too dominant and decisive for the game outcome?
A: Because junglers roam, they feel like they are everywhere. For sure, early kill or gank might set you up behind but it is possible to come back. Jungle is not dominant in any way. It simply feels like it is.

Q: Mana healers?
A: There are already gods that can heal mana. Aphro, Sylvanus, Hel.

Q: Do you think general HP buff for warriors is enough even if it is only 10 hp base and 3hp per level?
A: Adjusting base stats is always more impacting than dmg buff / nerfs. Look at this that way. Everytime you hit a god who just got his hp increased, even it you hit him for more than the hp buff was, this hp buff will always be there. Will always matter. Situations when you survived on 7, 4hp shows that. Now everytimes you hit warriors, they will always have that more hp in every engage.

Q: Is Scylla skin included in Nintendo Switch founders bundle exlusive to it?
A: Not sure because every platform specific skin has different rules connected with it. Someone needs to ask them it know on twitter or hopefully, they will answer it now.

Q: Do pets count for backdoor protections shred with the new rule stating that backdoor protection stays even when minions die as long as you stay in the area?
A: No. Pets still dont count.

Q: How big is Jormungandr? Khepri size? Argus size?
A: He is definitely the tallest god. Not as bulky as Argus or Khepri but close. They can still adjust him tho. Because of his "the tallest" status he might be able to see more around him, see what others can not see ( Fog of war will work normally for him ).

Q: As a Zeus main I am concerned about Zeus changes. What was the reason for them?
A: They wanted to make him focus more on dmg rather than tankiness. Because currently he had too big base numbers and has his combo too often meaning he is way more powerful while playing like a bruiser, rather then typical mage.

Q: Any plans for duel specific map or joust map rework?
A: They are currently focused on Assault map. They might adjust joust and duel to make it more balanced.

Q: Ranked Assault when?
A: It will most likely end up as ranked arena where mode will be too abusable.

Q: Why Baron is not count as healer in assault?
A: Average Hel heals 24k in assault match. It is the highest healing number amoung healers in assault. Cupid 12k. Baron around 7k. They might look into Baron and Cupid to count as healers but it is tough call because then matches might even get less balanced because team with Hel will have way more consistent heal and they can simply camp and heal while Baron needs to hit enemies so his heal is not consistent.

Q: Why god X wasn't nerfed despite pros wanting that god to be?
A: Like in case of Ah Puch who just got received that nerf, his % in comparison to previous patch data are now worse and seeing pros in games now with / against Ah Puch looks worse then the worlds games. However, they still might look into them.

Q: Any plans for clan updates?
A: Yes. They plan to but it will require a lot of UI work and time. It is on the list, but not high on the priority.

Q: Draft casual conquest?
A: No. Quality of games will go down and mm will take hit for yet another queue. Casual conquest is good because you can pick anything and play what you want fast. Draft casual will prolong it, make it slower etc,

Q: Any plans for siege / clash?
A: For now no but they might make specific clash / siege balance changes. For now Assault is priority.

Q: Any info on ranked skin reward and commendation skin?
A: Tune in for next patch notes on tuesday. Commendation skin is for Baron just to confirm that if someone didnt know.

Q: What about Stone of Fal?
A: They planned to include it during patch notes but they werent happy with the "prototype" version of it, so they held that back. It is going to change. It is now in internal test phase.

Q: Winged blade buff?
A: It is currently very good item. Why would we buff it? Good stats, good passive. It is simply overlooked.

During stream they explained that Merlin skin from Camelot event is a new type of skin called UNLIMITED. It means, that you can buy the skin later once the event ends, but it will cost the same as if you bought whole event so people who bought it while event was up, wont feel cheated. So 4500 gems.

They also explained how Merlin stance switch work. It is his ultimate. He switches between arcane -> Fire > Ice in that order. CAN'T go back to previous stance. He has it on level 1 as a rank 0 skill. For now has base 28 second cd. When Merlin uses it he creates small explosion around him that deal dmg associated with his current stance BUT when he switches the stance, he creates implosion that comes back to him and is of the switched element. So Arcane explosion into fire implosion going back into him. Also you can skip stance while switching. There will be short input window for it.

2018.08.18 00:58 KingQuackster Discussion: Cross-Pantheon Skins

Title. Can we please get more of these types of skins? This skin theme is hands down my favorite out of all them. They're so easy to come up with, practical, and if executed correctly can just be an overall perfect skin. We got quite a few of them recently with the Divine Uprising event and I've loved each and every one.
I would kill for different Sol skins based off the elemental nymphs in Greek Mythology, Hula Chang'e, Pharaoh Baron Samedi, and so much more. They're that easy to come up with because they're right there in the lore and culture of every pantheon. You just have to twist it onto the gods.
Cross-Pantheon skins also don't have to be restricted with our current pantheons. Look at Madame Darkness Nox, a Voodoo theme'd skin that came before the Voodoo Pantheon itself was in the game. We could get skins like Native-American Skadi skin where Kaldr is a gray wolf and she's decked out in Native-American hunting clothes and garments. Shit, maybe even the Inuit Pele skin concept I drew up. Both of those could eventually bring the Native-American and Inuit Pantheons into the game, who knows.
Main point is, I just need more of these. They're so good.

New God Pele

Passive Ability - Everlasting Flame

When Pele drops below 50% health her flame is set alight, and she gains increased Physical Power, Lifesteal and Ability Lifesteal. This passive has a 20s cooldown.

First Ability - Pyroclast

Pele flourishes and fires out a magma orb ahead of her in a line. Once the fiery projectile reaches maximum distance it hovers for a brief instant, solidifies, and then returns back in pieces, dealing damage to enemies on the way back. The number of shards returning is dependent on the rank of this ability.
Pele has 2 charges of this ability.

Second Ability - Eruption

Pele fiercely erupts energy into the ground, exploding in an area around her, causing damage and Knockup to all enemies. At ranks 3 and 5 the area expands again at a delay, dealing less damage and a smaller Knockup.
Three Exploding circles

Third Ability - Magma Rush

Pele starts to churn the land around her, dealing damage to nearby enemies and giving her constant movement speed while this ability is active. Toggle this ability again to enter an amplified state, expending more fuel but dealing more damage and providing additional movement speed. This ability has no cooldown but uses a fuel gauge and cannot be activated when below 10 fuel.

Ultimate Ability

After a short warm up, Pele dashes forward dealing massive damage and a slow to the first enemy God hit, and dealing additional damage to enemies behind in a cone. For the next 10 seconds or 3 attacks, every time Pele hits an enemy with a basic attack, additional damage is dealt behind the enemy as well.

New God Pele

Passive Ability - Everlasting Flame
When Pele drops below 50% health her flame is set alight, and she gains increased Physical Power, Lifesteal and Ability Lifesteal. This passive has a 20s cooldown.
  • Power: 5+2 per level
  • Lifesteal: 40%
  • Ability Lifesteal: 20%
  • Cooldown: 20s
  • Duration: 6s
First Ability - Pyroclast
Pele flourishes and fires out a magma orb ahead of her in a line. Once the fiery projectile reaches maximum distance it hovers for a brief instant, solidifies, and then returns back in pieces, dealing damage to enemies on the way back. The number of shards returning is dependent on the rank of this ability.
Pele has 2 charges of this ability.
  • Damage: 60/100/140/180/220 (+60% of your physical power)
  • Return Damage: 30 (+10% of your physical power)
  • Range: 60
Second Ability - Eruption
Pele fiercely erupts energy into the ground, exploding in an area around her, causing damage and Knockup to all enemies. At ranks 3 and 5 the area expands again at a delay, dealing less damage and a smaller Knockup.

This ability has no cooldown but uses a fuel gauge and cannot be activated when below 10 fuel.
  • Damage: 20/25/30/35/40 (+10% of your physical power) every 0.5s
  • Amplified Damage: 40/50/60/70/80 (+20% of your physical power) every 0.5s

Ultimate Ability
After a short warm up, Pele dashes forward dealing massive damage and a slow to the first enemy God hit, and dealing additional damage to enemies behind in a cone. For the next 10 seconds or 3 attacks, every time Pele hits an enemy with a basic attack, additional damage is dealt behind the enemy as well.

So we are getting Pele quite soon in Smite. Has me excited to see what other fun gods and Goddesses can come from the Polynesian area. One fun and crazy idea for one would be Kapo, Peles sister and the Goddeess of Fertility, as well as Sorcery and Dark powers.

Why did I think she would be a fun and crazy? Well lets look at her most famous story.
One day Pele was wondering around when Kamapua'a, a half god half pig, decided he wanted to rape her. Right before he was able to, Kapo sensed her sister was in danger, and sprung into action... by detaching her flying vagina and sending it at him, causing him to chase that all the way to island of Oahu where he crashed into a mountain making Koko crater.
You heard that right. Kapo is famous for having a flying vagina she can send out at will to lure or capture people. So why not have her join the battlefield of the gods, and as a Guardian, as since she feels like a perfect protector, luring enemys away from her allies with her flying vagina.
Kapo isn't just a 1 note god, she also can transform, knows healing skills, and can hex people. So with all that I feel that she should be a very CC focused guardian, like Kumba is, but with some minor ultility for her allies.\
Quick note I am not very fluent in Hawaiian words so I will just use normal words for the names for some skills or her passive, but if you guys have better suggestions let me know.
Passive: Redirect. Kapo naturally can pull attention off of others and onto herself. Any time a minion, tower, jungle minions/bosses, or pet would attack an ally god they will instead attack her if she is within 55 units of the god, and will take reduced damage when attacked like that as well. Reduced damage will be around like 20% or so, since its not a constant damage mitigation only sometimes. This would be great early for early aggression in minion waves, for sieging towers, and for objective attacks, as she will always be the focus there, and take reduced damage as well. Late game it falls off a bit, which is my only worry, but there are a bunch of passives that fall off/have limited uses, so it should be fine.
Ability 1: Fertile dream. Kapo blows out a wave of Lei flowers and pink smoke in a line. This damages and mez's all enemies in front of her. This is tied to her mythology where if you have a dream of a woman missing a vagina you are dreaming of her. Plus, we have mez's in the game, but all of them are just in a circle around the users(except Cupids Ult) so having a ranged line Mez is new.
Ability 2: Aphrodisiac herb. Kapo twirls in a circle 3 times, instantly healing any allies or minions for each twirl, and damaging any enemies 3 times. if an enemy is hit all 3 times they are stunned. Kapo knowns healing herbs so giving her a heal seems justifed, Also giving it a damage/stun to it makes it a good combat heal. However since its a channeled heal/delayed stun it gives the enemy time to counter her, as she is not CC immune during it.
Ability 3: Hex. Kapo picks an target area and Hexes anyone inside it. They are slowed for 5 seconds and gives the new Hex CC, which if they use any abilities during those 5 seconds take damage. Kapo in mythology has been known to send her flying vagina out to capture people she wants to hex, so this is kinda tied towards that. Nox used to have an anti ability to her kit with her ult, and this is a watered down version of it. The AoE is just about a 10 radius circle or so, and it does no instant damage, only damage if the enemy decides to use an ability. Beads can cleanse the Hex CC.
Ultimate: Kohe lele. Kapo charges for a moment, and then detaches her Vagina(it would look differently and PG in game, maybe a heart, or something?), She then drops it in a target location, causing all enemies in the area to be taunted towards it. You also can choose which way the vagina moves as it lands based on which direction you move the targeter as you case it, forcing enemies to follow it as well, The taunt lasts the duration the vagina is out, about 3 seconds, and anyone that got taunted takes some damage at the start. Think Loki Decoy, but it effects gods and can be moved to even better position. The amount it moves isn't massive but it forces enemies towards that direction. This would be our only AoE ranged taunt in the game, and seems very fitting as an ult for a guardian.
Anyway, thats my kit concept. Its more then just a 1 note flying vagina kit, and I think would bring a very cool and unique control guardian. Let me know what you guys think

I've seen people online give many reasons why Hi-Rez wouldn't add an American Pantheon, why it wouldn't work, etc., but I want to give my reasons as to why it would work if they were to tread carefully. Before I start, I want to point out that I'm referring to Native Americans from the United States and some of Canada, not Mesoamericans like the Mayans. Without further ado, here are some claims against a Native American Pantheon, and my counter arguments.
"They're many different pantheons, not one." This claim makes a lot of sense, and would also apply to other tribe-based pantheons like African. However, since American tribes are located in such a close proximity, their stories have many things in common. Think of it like this. Maūi is a Hawaiian demigod, but he's also a demigod from other Polynesian cultures like New Zealand. A Polynesian pantheon would be acceptable, because there are many commonalities across them even though there are many differences. A Native American pantheon in Smite should be made exclusively of characters that are from many tribes, not just individual ones. Some examples of beings in multiple different cultures are Coyote, Raven, the Thunderbird, the Turtle Island, and The Great Spirit. Certain gods wouldn't work in a Smite pantheon because they're too specific to be put as "Native American", but some characters are broad enough to be just "Native American".
"People would be offended." This is true for some reasons, but wrong for others. First of all, Native Americans are usually all for representations of their culture if they're accurate. While there are Native Americans that are protesting the Redskins for being insensitive, there are others that are actually helping representations in video games to be more faithful. Just look at the Chief Thunder's Legend of Thunder skin in Killer Instinct. Developers got help from the Nez Percé tribe to be as culturally accurate as possible. As long as Hi-Rez represents the culture accurately, all should be fine. Another argument I have is that not all of Native American mythology is religious. Many stories, like those of Coyote or Raven, were passed down to teach people lessons about life. To explain natural phenomena, like many myths do. The only difference is that many Native Americans acknowledge that those stories are just myths, and there's no truth to them. There are many books and films for young children detailing the adventures of Coyote and Raven, and they all come from oral tradition, but they aren't worshipped as real gods. They're like the boogeyman or Santa. We teach those stories to our children, and they are definetely real mythology, but we don't believe in them. Of the beings that I mentioned above that would work in a composite NA Pantheon, the only one actively worshipped is the Great Spirit. And while I'm at it, I'm sure many Native Americans would appreciate their stories being told to a broad audience through video games. It would serve to enrich their culture. As long as Hi-Rez doesn't represent Native Americans as redskin stereotypes, there's no room to offend. Now, this obviously doesn't apply to all tribes. I can think of many tribes that would be opposed to being represented. The Pueblo Council, for example, didn't allow Firaxis to use their language in Civilization 5 because it's sacred to them. They'd definetely be opposed to having their sacred beings killed by somebody like Cupid. A Native American Pantheon, if done correctly, would be much less offensive than, say, a Hindu one, which is already in Smite.

/Smite is the place for all talk Smite, the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) that changes the formula. Taking the usual top-down, clicking action features of others in the MOBA genre and flipping it on it's head, Smite features a unique third-person perspective and fighting style with using the W.A.S.D keys on keyboard to move around and control sticks on console. You can choose from multiple types of matches, from the usual Conquest 5v5 multi-lane and jungle mode to Joust, a 3v3 single lane with small jungle mode, and even to Assault, a 5v5 randomly picked character single lane with no jungle mode. Even daily changing Matches of the Day (MoTD, or Mode of the Day if you like), with custom rules like lower cooldowns, no mana cost, restricted character selection, etc. With playable characters being key figures in Mythologies spanning Greek, Hindu, Chinese, Japanese, Roman, and Mayan, there is a little bit for everyone.

With each post made on the subreddit, there is the chance that an employee at Hi-Rez Studio will respond to your post in the comments. Any of the abilities can trigger the passive, as the developers tend to browse the subreddit quite often.

Over time, different types of gods and goddesses will be the center of discussion. Got questions about Warriors, wondering how to build a certain Hunter, curious on how to play a Guardian? You can ask all of that and more in the Megathreads. When a new god or goddess is taking to the battleground of the gods, a megathread for discussion on them as well as the patch they are in is up as well.

With the e-sports popularity in MOBA games, there is no surprise that Smite enters the e-sport arena. With the Smite World Championship coming up in January, throughout the year numerous Smite Pro League teams have been fighting it out. With post game discussions, live discussions, and in game content to support your favorite teams, the e-sport content is overflowing.
 
/Smite's third ability is "Fan Creation."
With ~80 gods to choose from, there is already a great selection. Yet, there are even more to be implemented. With fans creating their own gods and godesses, coming up with their own skins for their favorite gods already in the game, and even the creation of new items and item balances. The community has an impact on the game, with a lot of fan created skins in the game now and in future updates, item changes be it nerfs to buffs as well.

2. Why Smite over other MOBAs?

Srixis: I love mythology! I got into the game because I played a tabletop called Scion) and found another game with mythology in it (Smite). I stayed because of the lore and because the game feels like a bit of a cross between a MOBA and an MMO due to the POV and the movement. I've tried League, and it just didn't feel nearly as immersive.
DrYoshiyahu: I haven't played any other MOBAs. I just tried Smite one day and instantly fell in love with it!
Unforgettable_: Being mainly a console player, I was curious as to see how a MOBA would fair on the Xbox. Once Smite actually came to the Xbox, I was hooked from the very beginning.
NyxAtNight: Like many others, I came for the mythology and third-person perspective and stayed for the unique mechanics and plethora of game modes. I will always love Dota, but after a rough day at work it's nice to let loose with a match or two of Assault (all random all mid) for example.
TraumaHunter: The mythology is fun. It's cool to see how gods could be re-imagined in video game form.
DivideByNothing: I've always been interested in mythology. Before I started playing Smite, I used to play quite a lot of MOBA games. I started off playing the DotA map on Warcraft III. Following that was League of Legends in 2011. I honestly lost interest quite fast, trying out Heroes of Newerth next. Around the mid/end of 2012 I found out about a game called Smite. It was just starting entering closed beta. Since then I spent my time playing the game with my friends.

3. What is your favorite role to play in Conquest?

Srixis:I love playing Mid the most. It's the role in which I've had the most practice, and as a result I feel very comfortable playing it. If I had to pick a second favorite role, I'd choose support.
DrYoshiyahu: I usually play the role of the HunteCarry/ADC.
Unforgettable_: My favorite role would probably be Jungle. I don't really like staying in one lane so much and roaming around the map I find really fun. Other than that I like to support!
DivideByNothing: I enjoy playing adc the most. I used to play a lot of jungle, but with the time I decided to transfer over to the duo lane.

4. What category of God/Goddess do you tend to play more? (Mage, Assassin, etc.)

Srixis: Going off the previous question, mages are my favorite. Bursting people down is always fun, and I feel like I can have the most impact in the game from the role of a burst character. Almost all of my favorite characters are mages, as well. Guardians are my second favorite because I also enjoy being tanky and setting up my teammates for huge plays.
DrYoshiyahu: I've always had a small obsession with archery and bows and arrows, so I went straight to the Hunter class as soon as I started playing.
Unforgettable_: I don't really have a preference, I like to play all gods! Considering the jungle role, I guess I would pick Assassins by default but I like using off-picks!
NyxAtNight: I'm drawn to mages (I always played the magic types in MMOs); something about bursty spells at a range really appeals to me. I am not adverse to slipping into a fight as an Assassin and wrecking face, though!
TraumaHunter: Probably Hunter role (Yes, it's ironic.)
DivideByNothing: I tend to play a lot of hunters and mages.

5. Who is your favorite God/Goddess in Smite? How about favorite skin in the game? (Either for your favorite god or others)

Srixis: Zhong Kui is my favorite god in Smite. I love his design, his lore, his character concept, and his kit - he's just the whole package for me. Favorite skin in the game currently is Jandroid Janus. His personality and design are amazing, and his voice pack is one of the best in the game. However, the newly spoiled High Noon Sylvanus may take over that spot: it's just so gorgeous and all the ability reskins look top notch.
DrYoshiyahu: Cupid is definitely my favourite; he's a Hunter, he's the god of love, and he's an adorable little cherub! Some of his quotes and voice lines are hilarious, and buying his Voice Pack was one of the first purchases I ever made in Smite.
Unforgettable_: Bellona <3. As for favorite skin... it would probably be Nuclear Winter Ymir. He turns green!
NyxAtNight: Though she is no longer in the game, Old Wa remains my favorite goddess. Rest her soul. If I had to choose from the current pool, I would pick Serqet. She's so sassy and fun and her kit is very intuitive to me (I like to dash in and dash out in the blink of an eye).
TraumaHunter: This is such a hard question. I guess I'll go with a safe answer though and say Ymir - because when you say things in Ymir's voice everything gets better.
DivideByNothing: My favourite god in the game is Artemis. My favourite skin is of course Archon Thanatos. I personally don't own it, but in general I'm a big fan of the Angelic/Demonic theme.

6. What do you wish to see implemented in Smite in a future update, be it MoTD, new feature, skin, etc.?

DrYoshiyahu: I really want to see a Hawaiian/Polynesian pantheon added. Some of those characters would make fantastic additions, and being Oceanic myself, it would be a little closer to home than some of the other cultures in the game.
Unforgettable_: Maybe some sort of Anti-Mage like from DOTA, a god or item that takes away mana instead of health. Would be interesting!
NyxAtNight: I would love for Smite to explore other pantheons, in particular the Celtic and Native American ones. On a different note I really like the idea of the item Aghanim's Scepter from Dota 2: it upgrades the Ultimate ability of certain heroes. Something similar in Smite would be fun to play around with!
TraumaHunter: We need more Gundam skins. While I'm at it, let's be real, (and I'll even keep it in the After Colony timeline) the Thanatos Epyon skin would have been much better as a Tallgeese Flügel or a Wing Zero Custom. At least go for the low hanging fruit and make it Deathscythe. TLDR; I expect a XXXG-01DS Arachne skin by next month.
DivideByNothing: I would love to see more PvE events in the game. The one happening right now for the Odyssey event is quite fun and challenging.

7. What God/Goddess do you want to see in Smite?

Srixis: Hestia/Vesta. She has great lore and always gets slighted in comparison to the other major Greek/Roman gods. I would love to see her made into a support-style character, it would fit her lore really well!
Unforgettable_: Tsukuyomi. Or any other Japanese deity really. I find their pantheon to be interesting.
NyxAtNight: I would love to see Fand, Queen of the Fairies added to the game. Her ability to take a bird form could add another interesting dynamic to the game - I've always imagined her bird form as her Ultimate, and entering bird form would unlock a second set of (lower key) abilities.
TraumaHunter: I'm a weeb so I'm a fan of just about anything that comes from the Japanese pantheon (Hey, I'm being honest here.)
DivideByNothing: It's not really a god, but I really want to see one of the titans from the greek mythology being added as a playable character in the game

8. Finally, anything you'd like to say to potential subscribers/players?

Srixis: The game is amazingly fun! All game modes and gods are sweet, play the one(s) you find most enjoyable and just have fun with everything.
DrYoshiyahu: Just start playing. Smite is one of the most casual/noob-friendly MOBAs out there, and you'll learn a lot about the characters just by playing a few matches of Arena, without all the strategy and nuances of a full match of Conquest.
Unforgettable_: I would just like to say, be open to learning. Yes it can be frustrating to have bad teammates and stuff in games such as MOBAs, FPSs etc... But if you have an open mind and are always looking to improve, you will do so, I can promise you that :)!

Combat Tactics
If you're new to the MOBA genre or wanting to try something different, Smite is the game for you, and /Smite is the subreddit for you too. Newcomers are welcome, with guides all around on the sidebar, in posts and discussions, feel free to ask questions. It is best to use the first ability as often as possible when starting off, the passive may kick in and give you an extra boost to mobility. The second ability is tricky at times, but once you get used to it you'll know when to use it. The third ability is great interspersed with the first, helping out in the community and seeing how others act in the environment is key. The Ultimate is a match breaker, only to be used when necessary. Every so often use it, thank your moderators for what they do, and everyone will be happy.
Or don't do any of that, someone else already came up with a better tactic anyway.

Story so far 
The date is November 18th 1945. You and nineteen other people are on a boat tour to a small uninhabited polynesian island. As soon as everybody has all of their personal belongings and is off the boat the captain leaves immediately. Your wondering why is interrupted by the overly cheerful tour guide announcing where everybodies cabins are. As you deposit your items inside your cabin you hear a loud familiar scream. At once you run out side to see your tour guide shot in the chest. He's holding a blood drenched note in his right hand. That reads as follows: If you want to live KILL. It was addressed from the Mafia.
Everybody was shocked by the death of your guide. What did the note mean? What does the mafia want with you? Why was he killed? Was the captain in on it? What about the tour guide? Rumors spread about the meaning of the note. The most popular is to vote to kill a person off everyday until the mafia killing
You have voted for the death of arefx. The mode of death is shooting through the head, as you pare gretting him ready he is begging and pleading for you not to do it! "Please! I didn't do it I know as much as you do! Don't shoot! Don't pull the trigger!" He's sobbing at this point. "HELP ME PLEASE SOMEBODY, IM INNOCENT PLEASE. The trigger was pulled seconds later. He was innocent.
Today, for the first time a plane flew over head. At first it seemed to ignore your calls for attention. Then it turned around, flying in circles over and around the island. BubbleDragonz thought it was beacause there was a drunk Pilot. Although TheBangleDangle was adamant that it was the USAF coming to save the innocent, but had no room to land. Then, somthing fell out of the plane. It landed directly on CeruleanTresses killing her instantly. She was innocent. The plane flies away. After further inspection there was a plethora of food and supplies in the crate. Including parts for a electric chair? And on the box there was a familiar message. "MAFIA."
After you've built the electric chair it's probobly best to try on a live subject, why not __Ephemeral. That guy with the weird accent, why not. As you put her in the chair she says, • "I don't appreciate you guys doing this. Even if I did the same to somebody a long time ago, even if I'm not mafia." ~~ ZAPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!
Everything is going fine on small Polyneisian island. Sure, a few people are dead. Story so far 
The date is November 18th 1945. You and nineteen other people are on a boat tour to a small uninhabited polynesian island. As soon as everybody has all of their personal belongings and is off the boat the captain leaves immediately. Your wondering why is interrupted by the overly cheerful tour guide announcing where everybodies cabins are. As you deposit your items inside your cabin you hear a loud familiar scream. At once you run out side to see your tour guide shot in the chest. He's holding a blood drenched note in his right hand. That reads as follows: If you want to live KILL. It was addressed from the Mafia.
Everybody was shocked by the death of your guide. What did the note mean? What does the mafia want with you? Why was he killed? Was the captain in on it? What about the tour guide? Rumors spread about the meaning of the note. The most popular is to vote to kill a person off everyday until the mafia killing
